The Pretty Pintastic Party #147

10.3.17 By Annie N

HAPPY FRIDAY!

Welcome to this week’s Pretty Pintastic Party! It’s been quite a week this week and I’m SO glad it’s the weekend!

Mr Annie’s Noms has been away on a course all week, so I’ve been holding down the fort here and looking after Poppy full time. That’s a job in itself! I usually have her all day, but in the evenings I have help (she’s old and needs carrying up and down the stairs). Trying to make her understand that he’s coming back is so hard. She has major separation anxiety and trying to get her up to bed every night has been hard work. She just sits by the door waiting for him and then moans and looks sad.

She also doesn’t like change and that sometimes triggers an anxiety attack, so I’ve been barely sleeping because I wake every hour to make sure she’s still sleeping and calm and it’s walking round for hours. All in all, I can’t wait for him to get home this evening!

We tried face timing with him the other day and she did her inquisitive face as she could hear him, but didn’t understand he was in the phone. I was worried it would confuse her more, so we haven’t done it again.

Anyway, have a great weekend and I’ll speak to you soon!

The combination of apple and carrot makes these muffins, sweet, yet slightly tart. Along with oats and a little spice in there too, they're hearty and filling, whilst not being packed with sugar.
