The Pretty Pintastic Party #170

18.8.17 By Annie N

HI GUYS!

Welcome to this week’s Pretty Pintastic Party! I hope you’ve all had a great week! It’s been busy here; while I’m taking some time off from blogging for the Summer, I’m still working for photography clients and I’ve spent most of this week driving and then carrying heavy kit through various towns!

We’re just starting the paperwork process here which will allow us to get married abroad and I’ve been busy buying more things for the party and getting all the signs/invites ready to be printed. I met this lovely lady yesterday as I bought something on eBay and went to pick it up; I said it was for our wedding and we got talking; she asked why we were getting married abroad and I, being ever honest, said “so we don’t have to invite family we don’t want there!” – we had a good laugh and she said she completely understood; it seems more and more people do. It seems that gone are the days where you’re forced to invite every cousin, aunt, great uncle, second cousin, third cousin etc.

More and more people are like “it’s your day, invite who you want to invite” which I am glad about because I was never going to invite people I don’t want to. I’m not what you’d call a wallflower; giving in to every request to invite people. It’s mine and Mr AN’s day, and if I don’t want someone there, I’m not inviting them. And I do not care what that person says or thinks about me because to let them have any effect on me, I’d have to care about their opinion and I don’t.

In other news, I should be picking up my dress soon! And I’m ordering bridesmaids dresses this weekend; eeeeek 5 and 1/2 months to go!!

We are looking for a blogger to join our awesome team of Pretty Pintastic Hosts. If this sounds like something you’d like to do, more information and an application is available HERE!
