Gift Guide for Kids

9.12.19 By Annie N

Happy Monday everyone! Kicking off the week with another gift guide, this one is for the kids in our lives or for adults who are big kids because, let’s be honest, some of these are so cool I want them!!

I’ve tried to go from educational to fun, with a range of prices to suit everyone. So, lets get into it.

Find all my other gift guides here.

Gift Guide for Kids | Annie's Noms
  1. Juno My Baby Elephant – £49.99 from The Entertainer
This little elephant is so cute and clever! The trunk is animated, it’s interactive and makes 150 lifelike movements and sounds. You can also feed Juno its peanut. I would have absolutely loved this as a kid!
  2. Incredibles 2 Jack Jack – £19.99 from Amazon
I love the Incredibles and little Jack Jack is hilarious. This toy is interactive and comes with a little racoon toy. You press his tummy and he can go from glowing red to being cute in seconds, just like Jack Jack in the movie!
  3. FAO Labrador Plush Toy – £20 from Selfridges
I am nearly 29, yet I still love getting plush toys for Christmas, this labrador is so cute and he will be amazing to cuddle up to for kids of any age!
  4. LEGO DUPLO Toy Story 4 Train Set – £17.97 from John Lewis
Who doesn’t love Toy Story? And Lego is great for people of all ages. This set looks so fun and it might keep the kids quiet for a bit while they build!
  5. Disney Frozen 2 Sing Along Boombox – £24.99 from Smyths
OK, don’t hate me. I know you’re probably sick of hearing songs from Frozen 1 and 2, and you probably don’t want your kids screaming along to the songs, but I think this is such a cool gift! I am obsessed with the music from Frozen 2 right now and would love to have a sing along haha!
  6. Barbie Ultimate Kitchen – £42.95 from Amazon
I can’t tell you how much I loved Barbie growing up. I had so many and played with them daily. This ultimate kitchen is fantastic, it has bowls, ovens, a sandwich press, play food and cutlery. Things have certainly moved on since I was a kid! We did have doll houses and cars, but nothing like the amount of sets you can get for Barbie now!
  7. Play Doh Baby Shark Set – £12.99 from Amazon
There are tons of Play Doh Sets, but I picked out this Baby Shark one because this seems to have been the year of everyone being obsessed with Baby Shark! Play Doh creates hours of fun and kids of all ages love it!
  8. Rescue Helicopter Play Set – £34.99 from Smyths
This playset is full of cool stuff; water missiles, a rescue rope, search light, life raft, cargo ramp and vehicles to play with. Considering how much you get, I think this toy is great value as I’m sure it will create endless fun!!
  9. Peppa Pig Princess TY Buddie – £8 from Selfridges
There are many Peppa Pig TY buddies, but I really liked this princess one. This would be great for kids of all ages to collect and play with. Do you remember how many TY toys we used to have in the 90s? Everyone had 100s!
  10. Bright Starts Spin and Giggle Giraffe – £34.99 from Smyths
This Giraffe is so fun! You feed it plastic balls and it lights up, spins and then fires the balls out to encourage your baby to move. It sounds like fun for kids and adults!
  11. VTech DigiArt Colour by Lights – £14.99 from Amazon
This is probably my favourite toy from this gift guide because it’s great value for money and can be used for years and years. You put one of the activity sheets in and then it lights up and tells you what colour to use. So fun! You can also download more things to colour in online, so your child doesn’t get bored!
  12. Clementoni Science and Play Scientific Microscope – £22.99 from Smyths
This set is great for the budding scientist, or any inquisitive mind. It comes with slides, pipettes, beakers and a magnifying glass to enable your child to take a closer look at things. There are 50 experiments included and the microscope will magnify up to 600 times the original size!

And there we have it, my top 12 gifts for kids this year! I hope this helped you!
