Ingredients

  • 4 medium sized apples (I used Granny Smith, but any would work)
  • Cinnamon, sugar, caramel etc. for topping, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 160C/325F and line 2 baking trays.
  2. Slice the apples into 1-2cm slices, removing seeds.
  3. Place one layer of apple slices on each tray (if you pile them all up they won't go crisp).
  4. Sprinkle with sugar/cinnamon if desired.
  5. Place in the oven for 45 mins-1 hour, flipping the slices half way through, until lightly golden and dried out.
  6. Leave to cool on the trays. If you're using caramel, drizzle on cooled crisps.
  7. Apple crisps will keep in an airtight container, at room temperature, for 3 days.
