Ingredients

  • 4 medium sized apples (I used Granny Smith, but any would work)
  • Cinnamon, sugar, caramel etc. for topping, optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 160C/325F and line 2 baking trays.
  • Slice the apples into 1-2cm slices, removing seeds.
  • Place one layer of apple slices on each tray (if you pile them all up they won't go crisp).
  • Sprinkle with sugar/cinnamon if desired.
  • Place in the oven for 45 mins-1 hour, flipping the slices half way through, until lightly golden and dried out.
  • Leave to cool on the trays. If you're using caramel, drizzle on cooled crisps.
  • Apple crisps will keep in an airtight container, at room temperature, for 3 days.
